Do I need a Meta account or technical skills?

Neither is needed to try the free sandbox. Self-service and Assisted setup require your own Meta authorization. Fully Managed supplies a pre-approved Toutye number without a customer Meta account or login, with the same product capabilities. Developers can use the API, but nobody has to.

Can I keep my current WhatsApp number?

Keep the app on your phone: Where Meta makes coexistence available for your account, connect the WhatsApp Business app through the supported onboarding path. Eligibility and synchronization must be confirmed for your number.
Move from another provider: Move an eligible number through the supported provider migration path. Required approvals, retained history and templates depend on Meta and the source provider.
Or start fresh: Connect a new eligible number on your own Meta account, or request an approved Toutye number with Fully Managed. Sending limits follow observed provider eligibility and service controls.

What is the WhatsApp Business Platform?

It is Meta's official way for businesses to use WhatsApp at scale: a whole team on one number, messages to many customers who agreed to hear from you, automatic replies and connections to your other tools. Toutye is a Meta Tech Provider that gives you all of it through a simple console.

Can I message anyone I want?

No, and that protects you. WhatsApp only allows business messages to people who agreed to receive them. Toutye records that consent and stops messaging anyone who says stop, so your number stays in good standing.

What does it cost?

Sandbox is free. Self-service has a per-message platform fee and direct Meta messaging charges. Assisted setup adds an accepted, quoted one-time setup fee. Fully Managed setup is free. The number has a fixed premium one-time fee from the published schedule, with no recurring rental. WhatsApp usage is equivalent Twilio pricing multiplied by 1.02. Prices are shown before you accept or send.

Is the AI assistant on by default?

No. It stays off until you turn it on. When it is on, it answers common questions from the information you give it, and a person can take over any conversation.
